Consistent, reliable, and accessible energy is the backbone of Africa's development. Afrika Rising works with partners and private investors to help countries tap into their natural resources for the benefit of the people and the development of their country.
AGRICULTURE
Agriculture in Africa has an enormous social and economic impact. Over 60 percent of the population of sub-Saharan Africa is smallholder farmers, and about 23 percent of sub-Saharan Africa's GDP comes from agriculture. Yet, Africa's total agricultural potential remains untapped. Afrika Rising is determined to make investments in the inputs, infrastructure, and trade markets crucial to significantly increase Africa's agricultural output.
